Duke Freshman Tre Jones left last night's shock OT defeat to Syracuse with a shoulder injury. The freshman left early in the first half after a collision with Syracuse's Frank Howard. The injury looked serious instantly with Jones clutching his shoulder in agony on the floor.
The injury looks to be worse than initally featured with the school announcing that the point guard would be out an indefinite amount of time after seperating his AC joint.Â
The Blue Devils felt the loss of Jones and the team didn't look as dominant as usual for the rest of the game, with Jordan Goldwire and RJ Barrett taking on ball-handling duties.
Despite boasting a staked roster it will be harder for Duke to win this year's college if Jones doesn't make it back to the court.Â
