Club Brugge vs Fiorentina – Both Teams to Score

Fiorentina take a 3-2 aggregate lead into the second leg of this Europa Conference League tie. The first leg was a goal fest and I expect a similar high scoring game today.

Club Brugge are prolific scorers at home, they have 17 goals in their last six home games (2.8 average per game) and have only lost once at home all season.

The Belgium side have scored in 15 consecutive games and after scoring twice away in the reverse fixture I can’t see them not scoring at home where they are even more effective.

Fiorentina scored three in the reverse fixture and clearly wanted to take control of the tie, racking up 31 shots.

Fiorentina have scored in their last seven games and both teams have scored in their last four games.

Brugge are lethal at home and should find a goal and this Fiorentina attack will be confident they can repeat last games barrage on the Brugge defence.

Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich – Real Madrid to Win

The first leg of this Champions League Semi-Final tie ended 2-2 as both sides took turns to dominate the game. Madrid sat back and looked to absorb Bayern’s attacks and I think they will have left satisfied with a draw away from home. They now head to the fortress that is the Santiago Bernabeu and I think they will see out this tie with a victory.

Madrid will want to take control of this game now they’re at home and given the fact they have haven’t lost at home this season and only drawn four, I think they have every chance of doing that.

Bayern have won just two of their last nine away games and those two were against relegated Darmstadt and relegation-threatened Union Berlin. The German side have also not kept a clean sheet away from home in 2024.

Madrid seems to always have the answers when it comes to high stakes Champions League football and always manage to find a way to win. They showed their tactical prowess when getting the better of the favourites, Man City in this competition in the quarter finals and I think now they’re at home they will control this game and win.

Peterborough vs Oxford United – Oxford United to Win

Oxford will take a 1-0 aggregate lead into the second leg of the League One play-off Semi-Final after they edged out their opponent in a close game in the reverse fixture.

Oxford have won the last two games against Peterborough this season scoring six and conceding none.

The U’s are also in better form only losing once in their last nine games and winning six.

Peterborough haven’t won in three consecutive games and have only won twice in their last six, which includes a 5-0 loss to Oxford.

Oxford manager, Des Buckingham has insisted it would be naïve to try and sit back and defend their lead so I expect them to get forward and find the goal.
