Man United vs Burnley – Garnacho Over 1.5 Shots on Target

This is a must win game for both sides as United continue to push for European football next season and Burnley attempt the great escape from the drop zone.

Man United’s defence is in pieces at the moment, they are missing six first team defenders and will likely be forced to play Casemiro at the back again.

When they have had this makeshift defence, ten Hag has had to lean on his attack to get him out of trouble.

They have had 25 and 28 shots in their last two games where this has been the case.

Garnacho has been the main man in terms of attacking output for them during this time too.

The 19-year-old winger has an average of 3.6 shots a game in his last five games. In his last two games he had four shots against Coventry in the FA Cup and six shots against Sheffield in the league.

He also hit the target five times against Sheffield last time out despite not managing to score.

He has had over 1.5 shots on target in his last two games against relegation threatened sides.

Burnley have the third worst xG against them in the league which means they allow plenty of chances for the opposition side away from home.

With Kompany’s side being forced to go for a win in order to have a chance of staying up, I expect Man United to have plenty of chances to catch them on the break – hopefully through their pacey winger, Garnacho.

Fulham vs Crystal Palace – Eze Over 2.5 Shots

Fulham welcome an inform Palace side to Craven Cottage this weekend and face the daunting challenge of stopping their momentum.

Eze has been a large part of their current form and has come to life since his return from injury.

Glasner has clearly given him the freedom he requires to thrive and a free pass to go for goal as he has been peppering the target at any chance he can get recently.

The young Englishman is averaging 4.7 shots per game in his last three and has five and seven shots in his last two games.

Palace are now mathematically safe, and I see no reason why Glasner will change a working formula for this game and will likely allow his side to lead from the front once again.

Fulham are also in poor form; they have only won one of their last five matches and have lost their last two home matches. They have also conceded 10 in their last five games.

Palace will fancy themselves in this game and will likely look to deploy the same tactics that has seen Eze shooting regularly in the last three games that they have won and against a defensively weak Fulham side, he should get chances.

Newcastle vs Sheffield – Newcastle to Win & Both Teams to Score

Sheffield must win this game to have a chance of staying in the division and Newcastle will want to get a result to keep pushing for European football next season.

I don’t think Sheffield have the quality to win this game and unfortunately think that this will be the final nail in the coffin for the Blades.

Newcastle are unbeaten in six at home and have scored in all 17 of their matches at St James’ Park this season.

They are also the most prolific home scoring side in the last six games in the Premier League.

The free scoring Magpies now face the leagues worst defence (92 conceded) and a side that they put eight past when they met earlier in the season.

One thing that can be said for Sheffield is that they haven’t been a lost cause going forward in this run in to the end of the season.

They have scored in six of their last seven games and have averaged 1.57 goals a game in this time. They even managed to score against Man United, Liverpool and Chelsea, which is a respectable feat.

Newcastle are having somewhat of an injury crisis and their defence is lacking a lot of key players which was exposed by Palace last week.

With Sheffield playing for their survival in this game they must score at least once, and I think they have a chance against this Newcastle side.

The Sheffield defene will be too weak however, and they will almost certainly be outscored. I think both sides will score and Newcastle will win.

Aston Villa vs Chelsea – Aston Villa to Win

Aston Villa are getting closer to confirming a place in next year’s Champions League and will hope to continue their run of good form when they face a Chelsea side who are off the back of a humbling defeat.

The Blues put on a lackluster and frankly embarrassing display against Arsenal mid-week when they lost 5-0 at the Emirates and looked as if they had already accepted the mid table finish in the Premier League this season.

They have shown a similar lack of cutting edge with draws against relegation candidates Sheffield and Burnley recently and a lucky 4-3 win (thanks to Cole Palmer) over Man United.

Aston Villa on the other hand are in fine form and are seeing out the season very well, they have lost just twice on their last nine league games and have won six of those games.

Chelsea have conceded 20 goals against sides that are currently above them in the league table in seven away matches and they now face the leagues joint top scorers at home. A recipe for disaster for Pochettino’s men.

I think Aston Villa will add another win to their tally today.
