Premier League Darts Week 14

Luke Littler was the last man standing in Liverpool last week, as he claimed his third nightly win of the Premier League Darts season, crushing Rob Cross 6-2 in the final.

That triumph moved Littler five points clear at the top of the table. More importantly it has put the 17-year-old sensation on the cusp of qualifying for the grand finale at the O2 Arena later this month.

Directly below Littler, the play-off battle continues to gather pace, with just six points separating the other four arrowsmiths in the running for a top four finish.

Premier League Darts Predictions for Week 14

Home hero Peter Wright takes on Michael Smith in the opening match of the night but the Bully Boy should spoil the Snakebite party by pocketing the points and boosting his own play-off hopes in the process.

League leader Luke Littler locks horns with Nathan Aspinall in a repeat of last week’s semi-final and another narrow victory for the Nuke could be on the cards.

Rob Cross cruised to a 6-2 win against Michael van Gerwen in last week’s other semi-final so the Dutch destroyer will be out for revenge as he looks to tighten his grip on a top four berth. Expect Voltage to make life difficult for MVG again in Aberdeen.

Luke Humphries fell at the first hurdle last week but the World Champion should get back up and running by edging out Gerwen Price in the Granite City.

Who is the Week 14 Premier League Darts favourite?

After landing his third weekly win in Liverpool last week, Luke Littler is the 12/5 favourite on bet365 to bank the latest five points up for grabs in Aberdeen.

Since claiming top honours last Thursday night, Littler has gone on to win the Austrian Darts Open, cruising to an 8-4 victory over Joe Cullen in last Sunday’s final.

On current form, the Nuke will take some stopping in Week 14.

Premier League Darts Tips for Week 14

Luke Littler Most 180s vs Nathan Aspinall @ 5/6 Betfred

Not only is Luke Littler sitting at the top of the BetMGM Premier League table, but he also leads the way for 180s, having crashed in 86 maximums across the opening 13 weeks of action.

The Nuke racked up no fewer than six 180’s during his 6-5 win over Nathan Aspinall last week, while the Asp replied with two maximums of his own.

With that in mind, backing Littler to ‘outmax’ the Asp again looks a great value option at 5/6 on Betfred

Luke Littler vs Nathan Aspinall 1+ Bull Finishes in the Match @ 10/11 Paddy Power

If both Luke Littler and Nathan Aspinall produce the sorts of levels they showed in Liverpool last week, then we should be treated to another high quality tungsten tussle in Aberdeen.

Both arrowsmiths are very adept at hitting the bullseye, not to mention the Asp has finished on the bull more than any other player in this year’s Premier League so far.
