The Apprentice 2024 Odds: Who is the favourite to win The Apprentice Final?

Phil Turner and Rachel Woolford battle to become Lord Sugar's new business partner in The Apprentice 2024 Final.

After 11 gruelling weeks, plenty of mishaps, turgid branding, boardroom battles and broken records, the final Apprentice gong of the 2024 series will chime at 9pm on Thursday 18th April.

After arguably the strongest final five field in recent years, frontrunners Tre Lowe, Flo Edwards and Paul Midha all fell foul to the infamous interviews.

In a surprise twist, this left Bognor Regis pie man Phil Turner - on the losing team in nine out of the 10 tasks - to do battle with his northern challenger, Leeds-based boutique fitness studio owner, Rachel Woolford.

But who will come out on top to become Lord Sugar’s 18th apprentice?

Who is in The Apprentice 2024 Final?

Phil Turner, a pie company owner from Bognor Regis, and Rachel Woolford, a fitness studio owner from Leeds, are the two finalists on The Apprentice 2024.

Phil is the man everyone is talking about. 10 tasks, nine losses and four boardroom appearances has left many on social media scratching their heads trying to understand how the 37-year-old has made it to the final showdown.

But, Lord Sugar has been here before. Series 7 winner, Tom Pellereau, won just three tasks but took the first ever £250,000 investment with a slightly better record. If Lord Sugar sees something in a candidate, they can go all the way, no matter the number of losses.

Standing in his way is Rachel Woolford. In the 10 tasks she won seven and lost three, but was project manager for two of those losses. She has been a no-nonsense candidate, though she has begun to crumble under the pressure in recent weeks. But, her clear business plan saw her make it through during the interviews.

Who is the favourite to win The Apprentice Final?

Phil has been a strong candidate and has grown in the process, with his losses often the result of his underperforming colleagues.

He already has an established family pie business, though it has seen a downturn in its fortunes in recent years. Phil is the surprising favourite across social media sites to go all the way.

Despite Phil’s popularity in the socials sphere, Rachel won’t go down without a fight. In light of her wobble in recent weeks, she’s put her front foot forward and continued to battle when the going got tough. It’s a trait Lord Sugar will have admired greatly.

But, for many, this one has already been won. Social media users feel there is only one reason Phil has made it this far: because he’s a shoo-in to win.

Regardless of the rumours, expect it to be neck and neck right up until the very last moment when we finally hear those famous words: ‘You’re Hired’.
