Sadiq Khan is hoping to secure a third term for Labour.
Alongside thousands of local council positions, 12 mayoral positions are to be elected today, or re-elected as the case may be in the capital city.
There are 11 candidates in total as Sadiq Khan bids for a third term for Labour, with Conservative candidate Susan Hall his only realistic challenger.
That's according to the latest London Mayoral Election odds available through oddschecker, which suggest Khan is more than 97% likely to be re-elected.

Hall, meanwhile, is a shortest 10/1 on Sky Bet and William Hill (implied 9% chance), but can be backed at a best price 20/1 on Paddy Power.
Khan has built his latest re-election campaign on the successes of existing rail and bus lines, as well as frozen fares for Londoners. But will it be enough?
His challengers have been focusing on the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ), a campaign to clean London's air. The largest clean air zone in the world, ULEZ covers every borough of London for the capital's nine million residents.
Hall has promised to scrap the Ulez expansion on day one if she is elected, while also focusing on crime rates, with a promise to reform the Metropolitan Police.
