Who is the Bet365 Gold Cup Favourite?

Henry De Bromhead's gelding, Amirite, currently leads the betting at a best price of 6/1 (an implied chance of 14%).

This is no surprise given the stamina this horse posseses in what will be a gruelling test for these horses. Rachel Blackmore on board is also bonus as she attempts to become the first female jockey to win this race.

Behind Amirite is last year's winner, Kitty's Light at a best price of 13/2 (13% implied chance).

Kitty's Light won the Scottish Grand National last year before going on to win this race for trainer Christian Williams. After a very respectable fifth in the Grand National this year, Williams will be hoping his gelding will follow a similar pattern.

Third favourite is Nick Rockett who is trained by the current leader in the National Hunt Trainers Championship, Willie Mullins. He is available a best price of 17/2 (11% implied chance).

It would be foolish to write off a Willie Mullins horse after the season he has had. This horse went off favourite in the Irish Grand National when finishing 7th and is clearly held in high regard as he was also an antepost favourite in some of the graded races at Cheltenham before deciding not to head to the festival.
